History

1943 Started manufacturing tail units for aircraft at Miai Plant.
1946 Started manufacturing textile machines.
1958 Established Nihon Kohbunshikan Co., Ltd.
(name changed to Nippon Kohbunshi Co., Ltd. in 1986)
(acquired by Nisshinbo Mechatronics Inc. in 2010)
1965 Started manufacturing the first automatic grinding and debarring machines in Japan.
1967 Started manufacturing various customized machines.
1970 Started manufacturing and selling molding fans.
1971 Started development and production of Copy Press, a plate processing machine.
1980 Started development and production of a new Copy Press model (commonly known as a turret punch press).
1983 Started development and production laser cutting machines.
1984 Formed a technical partnership with ALFRED TEVES GMBH, Germany (currently Continental AG) working on ABS (Anti-skid Brake System).
1986 Nisshinbo Miai Machinery Plant was completed (currently the Miai Machinery Plant).
Started development and production of a press brake.
1987 Hamakita Plant was completed.
1988 Established Mechatronics Division.
Established ABS Division.
1989 Established Kohbunshi (Thailand) Ltd.
(name changed to Nisshinbo Mechatronics (Thailand) Ltd. in 2011).
1993 Established Pudong Kobunshi (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
