History

1943 Started manufacturing tail unit for aircraft at Miai Plant.
1945 Started manufacturing textile machines.
1965 Started development and manufacturing the first automatic grinding and debarring machines in Japan.
1967 Started manufacturing various special-purpose machines.
1971 Started development and production CNC Turret Punch Press.
1983 Started development and production laser cutting machines.
1984 Formed a technical partnership with ALFRED TEVES GMBH,Germany (currently CONTINENTAL AUTOMOTIVE CORPORATION) working on ABS (Anti-skid Brake System).
1986 Miai Machinery Plant was completed. (At Okazaki city, Aichi prefecture, for manufacturing various maching centers)
1987 Hamakita Plant was completed. (At Hamamatsu city, Shizuoka prefecture, for manufacturing ABS parts)
1988 Established Mechatronics Division.
Established ABS Division.
1990 Formed a technical partnership with ALFRED TEVES GMBH, Germany (currently CONTINENTAL AUTOMOTIVE CORPORATION) working on TCS (Traction Control System).

2010 Acquired Nippon Kohbunshi Co., Ltd., and established the Plastics Department.
Acquired Jiangsu Yawei-Nisshinbo Precision Instruments & Machinery Co., Ltd., as a subsidiary and established Nisshinbo-Yawei Precision Instruments & Machinery (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.
